Founded by AV professional David Schaaf, the company brings more than 15 years of hands-on experience delivering reliable AV solutions across corporate, education, retail, and commercial environments.

David’s career in audiovisual integration has included work with national AV integration firms and technology teams supporting projects ranging from restaurant and retail rollouts to corporate collaboration environments and enterprise AV deployments. His experience spans the full lifecycle of AV systems—from infrastructure and installation to programming, troubleshooting, and final system commissioning.

Early in his AV career, David worked with Entertech, supporting the deployment of audiovisual systems for Buffalo Wild Wings locations across both corporate and franchise stores. These projects included new restaurant builds and large-scale remodels, providing valuable experience delivering AV systems in fast-paced construction environments where coordination, efficiency, and attention to detail were essential.

David later expanded his experience working on a wide range of commercial AV systems while collaborating with integration firms, technology partners, and enterprise clients. Over the years he has developed deep expertise in system programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical deployment of modern AV platforms.

In addition to technical AV experience, David’s background working within construction-driven project environments provides a strong understanding of how technology installations must integrate with broader building projects. This experience allows DAVID AVI to work effectively alongside integrators, contractors, and other trades to ensure AV systems are deployed smoothly and perform as intended.
